CHAMPIONSHIP / LABELLING

NOTE: Update from Ultra Running NSW, Unfortunately for one year only (2024) and with keeping the race at Campbelltown Athletics Venue, and track certification expiring at the end of 2023, with re-certification not due till 2025, the event will not be able to hold an IAU label for this year event.

Due to these changes to the race in 2024 and not being able to hold an IAU certified label, Southern Sydney 24 Hour Ultra will not be able to have any Australian (AURA) or World (IAU) running record attempts recognised or sanctioned

Note: Whilst non-labelled for 2024, any qualifying performances run at the Southern Sydney 24hr Ultra will still be recognised and sanctioned by AURA for any IAU international championship applications and Australian team selections (24hr, 100km & 50km)

ENTRY PROCESS

Online entries open from Friday 26th April 2024 and close on Friday 30th August 2024 unless sold out prior. Event is limited to a max of 200 runners across all categories over the 2 days, with also a limit of 40 runners in each race.

TRANSFERS / REFUNDS

 Refunds will be provided up until 30 days prior to the event, but Transfers will still be available up until close of entries.  Small administration fee will apply. For full details and process please refer to the Race Information Document Provided.

ACCOMMODATION

There are four motels located near the venue:

Also the infield will be available to all runners including support crew for the 24hr race from Saturday night, to set up tents for sleeping. (Note: Strictly no pegs to be used)

AID STATIONS

For a track event, individual runners have different food, drink and nutrition requirements. Therefor it is recommended that all competitors bring their own specific food & drink to the event. However there will be an Aid Station setup with basic runners needs throughout the entire event.  See the Race Information document for full details.

VOLUNTEERS

The event relies greatly on the help of a big team of volunteers to make the race happen and be successful. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer or help out at the Southern Sydney 24 hour Ultra on the weekend of 31 Aug – 01 Sept 2024 please fill in the form on the website.
